As someone who used to smoke a couple of times a day, every day. But it might be fine for some people, but it certainly can be a problem. I suffered from a pretty general mental fog and lost a lot of motivation. Whenever something was stressful, or boring, or not the super most fun, I'd smoke until it wasn't boring. It certainly wasn't healthy. I moved to a non-legalized state and haven't smoked since, and I'm absolutely more mentally sharp, more productive, more motivated, and more able to cope with negative situations than I was.
